Principal of Private Information Protection

JuGeMu Co., Ltd (hereinafter called “JuGeMu”) recognizes the value of their privacy of the Member, visitors, users and others who use www.clipdir.co.jp (hereinafter called “the User”). The protection of the privacy of the User is the principal of our business activity and also is our social responsibility. This Privacy Notice details important information regarding the use and disclosure of the User information collected on the JuGeMu’s web site. Please note that any image, or other content posted at the direction of the User onto the JuGeMu’s web site becomes published content and is not considered personally identifiable information subject to this Privacy Notice.

The Collection of Information by JuGeMu

JuGeMu collects the private information by way of legal and fair means.

The Provision of User’s Private Information to the Third Party

JuGeMu does not provide the third party with the User’s private information without prior User’s consent. However, JuGeMu may release personally identifiable information and/or non-personally-identifiable information if required to do so by law, or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with Japan laws or respond to a court order, subpoena, or search warrant. Any private information or image content that the User voluntarily discloses online (on discussion boards, in messages and chat areas, within your public profile page, etc.) becomes publicly available and can be collected and used by others. The Member’s account name (not your email address) is displayed to other User when the Member uploads image or sends messages through the JuGeMu’s web sites and other User can contact you through messages and comments. Any images that the Member submits to the JuGeMu’s web sites may be redistributed through the internet and other media channels, and may be viewed by the general public.

The Use of the Private Information

JuGeMu uses the User’s private information within the scope of the purpose of use which is shown at the time of such collection and/or to operate, maintain, and provide to you the features and functionality of the JuGeMu’s web site. JuGeMu does not use the User’s email address or other personally identifiable information to send commercial or marketing messages without your consent. JuGeMu may, however, use the User’s email address without further consent for non-marketing or administrative purposes (such as notifying you of major JuGeMu’s web site changes or for customer service purposes). JuGeMu provides personally identifiable information and non-personally-identifiable information to our subsidiaries, affiliated companies, or other businesses or persons for the purpose of processing such information on our behalf. JuGeMu requires that these parties agree to process such information in compliance with our privacy policy, and we use reasonable efforts to limit their use of such information and to use other appropriate confidentiality and security measures.

Commitment To Data Security

JuGeMu uses commercially reasonable physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of the private l information. JuGeMu can not, however, ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to JuGeMu at your own risk. Once JuGeMu receives your transmission of information, JuGeMu makes commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the security of our systems. However, please note that this is not a guarantee that such information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards. If JuGeMu learns of a security systems breach, then we may attempt to notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate protective steps. JuGeMu may post a notice on the JuGeMu’s web sites if a security breach occurs.

Disclose, Correction, Cease of Use, Remove of the Private Information

JuGeMu recognizes that the User has a right to ask any of disclose, correction, cease of use, remove of your private information in the JuGeMu’s web site, and responds quickly after a check and confirmation of the person in request if any of these requests may happen. However, in the event of violation of other third party’s rights, or in case that JuGeMu decides such the requests affects our operation significantly, or in case of possible violation of the law, JuGeMu may refuse such the requests. Please note that you may not be able to use the JuGeMu’s service if you request the remove and/or cease of use of your private information.

Organization and System

JuGeMu assigns a private information security administrator and maintains the office administration system to appropriately control and administrate the private information. JuGeMu provides employees and officers with the appropriate education and familiarize with the privacy policy, and promote the awareness-building of the private information protection, and make an effort to treat the private information appropriately in daily operation.

Third-party Advertisers, Links to Other Sites

JuGeMu permits such other companies as third-party ad servers or ad networks, to serve advertisements within the JuGeMu’s web sites. These third-party servers use technology to send, directly to your browser, the advertisements and links that appear on the JuGeMu’s web sites. JuGeMu does not provide any of the private information to these servers without your consent or except as part of a specific program or feature for which you will have the ability to opt-in or opt-out. You should consult the respective privacy policies of these third-party ad servers or ad networks for more information on their practices and for instructions on how to opt-out of certain practices. JuGeMu's privacy policy does not apply to, and we cannot control the activities of, such other advertisers or web sites.
